11 PROJECTS
01Based on a beloved children's book by Japanese author Shinobu Sakagami, this animated feature tells the moving story of a young boy learning to care for a sickly puppy named Riku. Produced entirely in-house, it became our first successful international theatrical release.
02Golu, a timid but intelligent boy, is accidentally transferred to a school filled with monsters from around the world because of a prophecy that says he will cause an apocalypse and end the human world. He soon befriends an excitable werewolf pup named Juju, and together with a colorful cast of monsters, they navigate the challenges and chaos of school life.
03Luna, a shy, ordinary eight-year-old girl, is helped by a mysterious fallen angel named Chandra to transform into LunaChan—an upbeat, confident superhero who believes in helping others and spreading joy through good deeds. The series is about overcoming shyness and fear, and discovering your true potential rather than trying to become an idealized version of yourself.
04Ninja Nontu is the youngest son of the country’s only Government-recognized, partially legalized and fully authorized Ninja Family. Though his family carries on with the daily activities that are atypical of an urban household, Nontu continues to uphold the strong traditions of Ninjitsu. When a new threat in the form of Chubby Chonga rises to terrorize the city, our neighborhood Ninja is more than ready to take him on!
05Batu Gaiden uniquely blends Asian mythology with the ever-popular game of cricket. Following its successful run as India's first manga series, Batu's story was adapted for television animation. Batu Gaiden: The Return of Asi aired on Cartoon Network and POGO in seven countries—India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and the Maldives—and became a major success.
06Fatak Patak is the coming-of-age story of Sher Singh, a young ‘alienoid’ handler who adopts an alienoid named Gabru and sets out to become world champion of the prestigious Alienoid Wrestling League. Trained by his grandfather, former champion Gama Singh, Sheru travels the world with his friends Jef and Fifi, battling the minions of reigning champion Business Mask. Our longest-running franchise, Fatak Patak spans two seasons and eight feature films broadcast across Disney networks.
07Set in feudal Kerala, the mysterious outlaw and vigilante known as ODAYAN gradually amasses wealth and power through deception and brute force, building a criminal empire that ultimately challenges the Zamorin's rule. Featuring the Indian martial art Kalaripayattu, Odayan is one of Nihodo Media's most popular and critically acclaimed titles, winning numerous honors including Best Writing at the Comic Con India Awards.
08Daksh is a Yamdoot, a herald of the afterlife cursed to walk the Earth collecting souls and banishing demons until his debt to Yama is repaid. When children begin disappearing across Mumbai, Daksh intervenes and uncovers a clandestine group plotting to summon Kalki and bring about the end of the world. The conspiracy is led from the shadows by an immortal Pishaach.
09Based on an idea from visionary Japanese Director Masayuki Ochiai, the ingenious creator behind critically acclaimed horror classics like Ju-on (The Grudge 3&4), Shutter, Infection and Parasite Eve; Dhappa tells the story of Shruti and the mysterious disappearance of her younger sister Esha, and the supernatural hauntings that plague them. The hauntings manifest with their phones acting up and their cameras being turned on. They hear voices, sounds of children laughing, playing and coaxing them into participating in their little game of Hide and Seek…Dhappa. These “ghost children” are visible only through the mobile phones of the observer, but their physical threats are real. They can run, they can try to hide…but the only way out is to play the game!
10We created several iconic, critically acclaimed comic-book properties and launched India’s first monthly comic-book anthology magazine. Originally published under the Level 10 Entertainment brand, the magazine is now part of Nihodo Media.
11Adventure Cloud is a science-fiction epic, set in a futuristic world where artificial intelligent lifeforms called Digitaloids co-exist with humans.
WORKS
Comics / Animation / Characters
We have produced ten manga titles and ten animated titles in India. Drawing on local mythology, culture, and everyday life, we have developed a diverse range of IP for audiences from children to adults.
Publishing / OTT / Television / Toys
We launched India’s first monthly comic anthology and built a retail network spanning 5,000 stores in 100 cities. Our titles have reached audiences through major platforms and networks including Amazon Prime Video, Jio Cinema, and Disney.
Animated Series / Toys & Merchandising
Fatak Patak became India’s first property to integrate a toy line with an animated series. By connecting animation, characters, and physical products, we create more ways for audiences to engage with the story.
